A data-tech boutique for the energy sector.
Founded in 2020 in Hamburg by Dr. Andreas Martens. We build productive data and AI systems for utilities, direct marketers, municipal utilities and grid operators — with deep industry knowledge and without vendor lock-in.
Who we are.
qurix Technology is deliberately small and deep. We combine domain expertise in the energy sector — from EDIFACT, GPKE and REMIT to Redispatch 2.0 and balancing group management — with real delivery capability on the modern data and AI side. Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, dbt, Azure Data Factory, Terraform, Anthropic Claude — we deliberately pick what fits the customer's data landscape and maturity, instead of forcing every solution onto the same stack.
Working with us means no consulting pyramid with junior resources, but senior engineers and architectural ownership that sit at the code with you. And at handover we make sure your team can keep building on it.
Team
Named accountability. The person who leads the engagement is also the person sitting in the room.

Customer Engagements · qurix Technology GmbH
Owns customer engagements at qurix — from the first conversation through scoping to delivery. Direct point of contact for, among others, the Uniper and enercity engagements.
How we work.
Six principles that recur in every engagement — whether it's a one-day workshop, a five-day sprint or a fourteen-week bootstrap.
- Deterministic first, AI augmented. Classical engineering tools (GitHub Actions, Jinja2 templates, Terraform, dbt) form the deterministic foundation. The LLM is advisory, not autonomous in production-critical paths — no hallucination risk in the build pipeline.
- Embedded in the team, not parallel. We work inside the customer's existing GitHub org, with their conventions, permissions and audit trails. No separate platform, no sandbox theatre, no re-platforming project.
- Scaffolding-first delivery. An early platform skeleton delivers immediate business value while additional streams are built out in parallel. No "plan everything first, deliver later" — but early productive paths and continuous build-out behind them.
- Three structured pilot runs before handover. Controlled (line-by-line validation by us), realistic (an engineer on your team runs it), stress (edge-case inputs). Only then do we move to handover.
- Handover with documentation and onboarding workshop. At engagement end: architecture documentation, setup guide, template extension guide, troubleshooting guide — plus a half-day onboarding workshop. Your team can extend the system from day one after handover.
- Senior accountability in the room. The person leading your engagement is also the person at the table and at the code. No consulting pyramid between senior expertise and delivery reality.
